Welcome

At Warlingham Sixth Form College, we have created a friendly and caring atmosphere.  This is promoted by myself, the Deputy Head of College, the Heads of Year, and the team of College Tutors who are always available for advice and encouragement.

I believe that the support, care and guidance provided by our dedicated teaching and support staff is second-to-none.

Expectations are high and to realise them we encourage self-discipline and motivation. As a result, achievement is excellent and every year a large percentage of our students progress to university, with a significant number going to Russell Group universities, including Oxford and Cambridge.  We are however a truly inclusive and comprehensive Sixth Form College which caters for students with a wide range of abilities, many of whom choose to move into apprenticeships or the world of work at the end of their two years here.

A dedicated programme of advice and guidance throughout year 12 culminates in our Aim Higher week in July which ensures that all students are clear about the options and possibilities available to them at the end of their Year 12 and 13.

At the core of everything we do is a commitment to the Warlingham Advance Award.  All our students are encouraged to become actively involved in academic study, the development of employability skills, enrichment and active citizenship in the community, and work experience.  They also participate in activities which will develop them as all round individuals and enhance their understanding of British Values and their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

There are a wide variety of enrichment opportunities as part of the study programmes including Debating, Young Enterprise, EPQ, Cooking for College, Core Sport, CSLA and Duke of Edinburgh. All these options ensure that Warlingham graduates are well-rounded and well-prepared for their applications post 18.  Please click here for more information about our enrichment programme.

We publish an annual College prospectus, which gives more information about the College.  Please click here to access our prospectus.

We run an Open Evening in October every year and are happy to welcome visitors for tours, please contact us if you would like to visit us.
