Sharman’s Spooky Fundraising Events

On Friday 31^st October, to celebrate Halloween and raise money for our chosen charity, Barnardo’s, Sharman hosted some creepy fun events! First up was ‘Guess How Many Sweets are in the Jar!’ In the morning, our Charity Team charged 20p to take a guess at the number of Halloween sweets inside a giant glass jar. There were 78 sweets in total and lucky Year 11 winner Jensen P guessed 77 and won the lot! Well done, Jensen!

Our lovely Sharman House also baked lots of eerie treats for a Bake Sale to raise money for Barnardo’s. Our Charity Team decorated the set with green balloons and scary posters and helped sell loads of delicious cakes! In fact, they were so popular, we sold out at breaktime and didn’t have any left to sell at lunchtime! With both events, we made a fantastic £100 for those in need.

We have plenty more fundraising events to come and can’t wait to raise lots more support and money!
