Ross Pizzey, Head of Year 8

I am proud to be the Year 8 Head of Year. Having been a student of the school not too long ago, it is an absolute privilege to be in such a position and to know that I have the opportunity to carry on taking this year group through the years and turning them into responsible adults in 4 years' time is a tremendous feeling.

I enjoy encouraging Year 8 students to show the best possible version of themselves and to be kind to their peers/teachers each and every day. In Year 8 - Respect earns Respect, and we encourage all of our students to treat others how you would like to be treated yourself.

We have an amazing team of staff in Year 8 who are all on hand to support our students each and every day.

I’m thrilled to be taking on the role of Deputy Head of Year 8 and feel incredibly lucky to be supporting such a fantastic group of students.

As someone who was once a Warlingham student myself, this school holds a special place in my heart, and it’s a privilege to now be working here in a pastoral role. I’m really looking forward to getting to know the year group more and watching each student grow, develop, and flourish over the next few years. I’ll be here to celebrate their successes, but also to support them through the challenges and tougher moments when they come.
