Megan Ward, Head of Year 9

I am very proud to be the Head of Year 9 at Warlingham School. Our year vision is "In Year 9, we team up to spread kindness, stay determined in reaching our goals, and embrace new challenges" and I love seeing our students embodying this every day.

Our year group has grown from strength to strength in Year 8 and I really look forward to seeing students continue to flourish in Year 9. We have a fantastic team of Tutors, Teaching Assistants, and Attendance Staff supporting us and I can't wait to see the year group continue to thrive.

This is a pivotal year for students as they continue to grow both academically and personally, and I’m excited to support them on this journey. I’m passionate about helping students develop confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of community. In this role,

I look forward to working closely with the pastoral team, teachers, TA’s and parents to ensure every student feels supported, challenged, and celebrated. It’s a privilege to be part of such an important stage in their school life, and I’m committed to making this year a positive and memorable one.
