Year 10 Team
Megan Ward, Head of Year 10
I am very proud to be the Head of Year 10 at Warlingham School. Our year vision is: "In Year 10, we team up to spread kindness, stay determined in reaching our goals, and embrace new challenges," and it is fantastic to see our students demonstrating these values every day.
This year group has gone from strength to strength throughout their time at Warlingham School, growing in confidence, maturity, and ambition. As they begin the important journey of Year 10, I look forward to supporting them as they rise to new challenges, develop their independence, and continue to achieve their very best.
We are fortunate to have a fantastic team of Tutors, Teaching Assistants, and Attendance Staff who work tirelessly to support our students each day. Together, we are committed to ensuring every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to thrive both academically and personally, and I am excited to see all that this year group will accomplish in the years ahead.
Helen Baker, Deputy Head of Year 10
I’m delighted to continue my journey with this year group as Deputy Head of Year 10. Having already worked closely with these students throughout their time in Year 9, it is a privilege to move forward with them into this exciting new stage of their education.
Year 10 marks the beginning of their GCSE courses and brings new opportunities, responsibilities, and challenges. I am passionate about supporting students as they develop confidence, resilience, and independence, while continuing to build a strong sense of community and belonging.
I look forward to working closely with our pastoral team, teachers, teaching assistants, and parents to ensure that every student feels supported, challenged, and celebrated. It is a privilege to play a part in their journey, and I am excited to see all that this fantastic year group will achieve as they continue to grow and succeed in Year 10.
