Student Anti-Racism Action Group charity bake sale
On Friday 9th December, the Student Anti-Racism Action Group (SARAG) organised and ran a bake sale to raise money for Generating Genius.
This is a charity that works towards and funds education for disadvantaged young people from Black and socio-economically disadvantaged communities, to ensure that talented and able students from disadvantaged backgrounds are positioned to excel in STEM careers. Having baked some delicious cookies and cakes and produced some luxurious and indulgent homemade chocolate, they delivered this to the school community and raised £70. They exhibited all the kindness and commitment of a Warlingham Learner and we're proud to have such a great group taking action in the school's mission to be anti-racist and inclusive.
