House Christmas Card Competition Winners
The Art Department would like to say a massive thank you to all the students who entered the House Christmas Card Competition this year.
We were delighted to receive an exceptionally high standard of entries, which were split between Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The cards were judged by a panel from the Art Department and Headteacher, Paul Foster. Congratulations to Year 9 Mallory student, Nancy L, for winning the Key Stage 3 competition with her Father Christmas design. When judging the Key Stage 4 entries, Paul Foster commented “it was a difficult decision as the standard was so high”. He eventually concluded that the winning entry should be awarded to Gabby S’ reindeer design as its eyes showed so much intense emotion, yet the deer was taking care of the robins sitting on its antlers.
All students who entered were awarded with a prize from Paul Foster and their cards are being used as the official Warlingham School & Sixth Form College annual Christmas cards this year.
