Mental Health and Wellbeing Drop In Sessions

At the end of the summer term last year, we asked parents and carers to complete a form to help gauge interest around Mental Health and Wellbeing drop in sessions for parents and to see which areas people are most interested in.

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who completed it. There were nearly 200 responses from across the year groups and the overall response was that parents/carers felt these sessions would be positive and helpful.

The main areas you said you were interested in learning more about were:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Body Image
  • Online Safety
  • Managing exam stress
  • Developing positive mental health
  • Accessing counselling and external services
  • Emotional regulation

We are planning on pulling together and running sessions over the next academic year on these topics among others. We would love to invite some external providers in to support in delivering these sessions. If you have any suitable contacts for any of these areas, please email me at
