Alternative Provision at Warlingham School
At Warlingham School, we are committed to ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the barriers they may face. In response to the Government's SEND and Alternative Provision reforms, which place a strong emphasis on inclusion, early intervention, high aspirations and improved outcomes for all learners, we have launched our new Alternative Provision pathway.
Our provision has been designed to provide targeted, personalised support for students who require an alternative approach to engage successfully in education. Rooted in our belief that every student can thrive when given the right support at the right time, the programme focuses on four key pillars:
Rebuild – Targeted academic intervention to close knowledge gaps, rebuild confidence and restore positive learning behaviours.
Restructure – Therapeutic and relational support that strengthens emotional regulation, social development and positive behaviour, enabling students to overcome barriers to learning.
Reimagine – Aspirational guidance that helps students identify their strengths, raise ambitions and develop clear goals for their future education, training and employment pathways.
Reconnect – Carefully planned reintegration and belonging strategies that support students to re-engage successfully with Warlingham School, their peers and the wider school community.
Through this structured approach, our Alternative Provision aligns with the national vision of delivering inclusive, high-quality support that keeps young people connected to education while promoting achievement, wellbeing and long-term success. It reflects Warlingham School's commitment to creating opportunities for every student to flourish, achieve their potential and feel a genuine sense of belonging within our school community.
