Year 11 Team
Simon Hurst, Head of Year 11

I am delighted to be working with Year 11 this year in my role as Head of Year 11. I am very much looking forward to working closely with the Year 11 team, students and families to ensure that every student is supported and encouraged to achieve the outcomes they deserve and need to progress confidently to the next stage of their journey.
My aim is to help cultivate a positive and supportive environment where every student feels a strong sense of belonging, is committed to their studies and has the courage and resilience to face setbacks and persevere.
Above all, I want our students to be happy, safe, successful, confident and respectful individuals who strive to be the very best they can be in everything they do. I want every student to feel proud of their achievements, proud to belong to their year group, and proud to be a member of the Warlingham School & Sixth Form College community.
Jacob Sewell, Deputy Head of Year 11
I am proud to be taking on the role of Deputy Head of Year 11 and to have the opportunity to support our students during such an important stage of their education. Year 11 is both an exciting and challenging year, and I am committed to helping every student achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
As a teacher, I believe that students thrive when they feel supported, valued, and encouraged. I am passionate about creating a warm, positive environment where all students feel confident to challenge themselves, develop resilience, and celebrate their successes.
I look forward to working closely with students, families, and staff to ensure that every member of Year 11 feels supported throughout the year and is equipped to make the most of the opportunities ahead.
