Students
All students at Warlingham School & Sixth Form College are entitled to access a full careers learning and education programme. This is set out on the Careers Related Learning Map and goes from Year 7 to Year 13.
This includes activities including trips and visits, outside speakers, Inspire sessions, personal careers guidance, workshops at key transition points and learning careers through the curriculum. Furthermore, all students in school have access to the platform Unifrog.
Unifrog
The Unifrog online program helps students to explore the many different career opportunities available
to them. All students in the school can use this platform. This can be accessed both at school and at home. If you have not previously logged in, you can log in initially using the code sent to your school email. All students need to complete the Personality Profile, and the Interests Profile. Once students have done this they can use the research tools for the Subject Library and Careers Library, access a wealth of webinars and podcasts as well as create a log of all careers encounters. Employability Skills
In school, we focus on developing our students' key employability skills. We have identified the following 7 main skills: Problem-solving, Communication, Negotiation, Leadership, Perseverance, Teamwork and Organisation. Where students are developing these skills in lessons, they will see the logos displayed. These logos look like this:
